Qrain’s Commitment to Sustainability

At Qrain, sustainability means designing better tools that leave a lighter footprint—safer inks, leaner packaging, longer-lasting pens, and smarter production from factory to final mile. Across alcohol, acrylic and metallic markers and our drawing liners, we optimize formulas for low odor and reliable performance, cut excess materials, and build durability into every set. We also share practical resources—color charts, care guides and classroom projects—so creators achieve more with less while we keep raising our environmental standards year after year.

Safer Inks, Smarter Color

We design inks that balance performance and responsibility. Our water-based acrylic and metallic markers use low-odor, non-toxic formulas; alcohol markers are optimized for smooth flow while minimizing solvent use. Clear color systems and swatch tools reduce trial-and-error and waste in the creative process.

Our Green Journey-10

Less-is-More Packaging

We redesign packs to protect your tools with fewer resources: flat structures, tighter fit, paper-first materials and limited laminations. Wherever possible we choose recycled/FSC-source papers and print with soy/vegetable inks. QR guides replace extra leaflets.

Built to Last

Durability is sustainability. Qrain focuses on tougher nibs, steady flow, and clear labeling, so sets last longer and fewer pens are discarded early. For select lines we pilot spare nibs and refill options; simple care guides help you extend product life.

Education, Community & Transparency

Great tools should also teach. We provide free color-chart downloads, classroom projects and maker tutorials to help creators use fewer materials for better results. Each year we share goals and progress—material reduction, recycled content usage, and waste metric
