Got the 36 set. Great variety of colors. Much better than I had expected. This is a quality gel ink set that will work well on most surfaces. You have to press down a bit with mild pressure at 90 degrees to the writing surface to get the best results. I am an art teacher and have used many different pens, and most but the tried and true brands work as they are supposed to so wasn’t expecting much, but these I can recommend if you need acrylic pens for writing/drawing on surfaces other than paper. They work well on paper of course.

I originally saw these on Instagram and me being the Pen nut that I am HAD to get them. The only part I don’t really like is you have to push down everytime to activate the ink to the ballpoint. But other then that they write smooth.

If I could give these Languo 3D Acrylic Painting Gel Pens 10 stars, I absolutely would! This 36-pack is a total gem—every single color in the set is vibrant, rich, and thoughtfully curated. The color story is pure perfection, and I was genuinely blown away by the opacity and overall quality, especially for gel pens.
I’ll admit, there’s a slight learning curve at first. I wasn’t sold initially—but once I figured out the pressure-release mechanism at the tip (you just need to apply a bit of pressure to get them going), I was hooked. These pens glide smoothly and lay down bold, even color with just one pass. The neon shades in particular are outstanding—unlike most neon acrylics, these don’t need a second layer to stand out. That alone is a game-changer!
I included a video in my review to show how beautifully they perform once you get the hang of them. This set has easily earned a spot among my all-time favorite Amazon finds, and I’ll definitely be repurchasing. An absolute must-have for crafters, artists, or anyone who loves bold, dimensional color!
